Miley Cyrus Cuts Body Double from Hannah Montana Concert
Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus has been under a great deal of scrutiny these past few weeks for using a body double during one of her live performances. While Ms. Cyrus (daughter to country singer Billy Ray Cyrus) was quick to defend her need for a body double, it seems as though Miley is trying to do it all on her own from now on - or at least she did in Chicago this week.
Parents of Hannah Montana fans didn’t have to explain why Miley was using a body double in her most recent performance in Chicago. They didn’t have to explain it because it didn’t happen.
The 15-year-old teen sensation’s rep told reporters that Cyrus needed a body double “To allow Miley to remove the Hannah wig and costume and transform into Miley for her solo set.”
But the cute singer must have taken the criticism to heart because she nixed the part of the show that incorporated the body double.
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, “That segment [the one where Miley used the body double] is no longer part of the production. ”
Looks like Miley really wants to please her fans.
And she did!
The adorable entertainer received rave reviews after Monday night’s concert.
